Epiphany

Wow! Second post of the day! I guess it shows how much I'm trying to avoid writing essays. The ADD has kicked into high gear and I'm no longer even trying to concentrate.

I've also decided that for every "good" day I have of eating and exercise, I'm going to have an equally "bad" day. Example: I was on a roll for an entire 2 days of running, gym classes, eating small portioned, healthy food, and the past 2 days and been filled with no exercise and so many peanut butter cups, peanut butter, and more chocolate that my stomach hurts just thinking about it. I really need to work on this sweet tooth of mine!

I think that the theory we discussed yesterday has some substance. If you deprive yourself, you're only going to want the bad stuff more. Then, when you fall, you fall HARD. So, starting tomorrow (because I already failed today hahah), I'm going to listen to my body and eat what it wants. No more beating around the bush. When I want peanut butter, I'll just go straight for the peanut butter instead of compensating with 10 almonds, then coming back unsatisfied in 20 minutes for chocolate, then trail mix, and then a million calories later breaking into the peanut butter. I'll let you know how this epiphany pans out.
Until then, allow me to share with you my favorite recipe.

Ingredients:
One jar of peanut butter (any kind, smooth or chunky)
Equipment:
One finger
Directions:
Peel away protective seal of peanut butter jar. Take your finger and dip it in the jar. Lick your finger. Repeat.
