Caution: Starbucks and Biking do NOT mix

After 20 minutes of staring at a blank Word document, I decided that Starbucks would be the perfect way to get my brain churning! I took a peak outside my window and there were only grey skies as far as the eye can see. Normally, I would give this the two thumbs up because gloomy, rainy weather makes feel happy and cozy inside (does that make me emo?), but if I was going to bike to Starbucks, I was not having it! I brought the ol' bike back out and headed towards Starbucks (no detour this time!).

I got my drink with soymilk, and you were totally right, their soymilk SO CREAMY! I'm never turning back! However, bike rides to Starbucks just aren't the same without an Emily and Lauren (Saria) by your side :/

My ride home was quite the adventure. I'm sure I was very entertaining to a lot people. Starbucks in one hand, steering my bike with the other hand, stopping at crosswalks, and trying to maneuver gently over bumps and cracks in the road... all I can say is, half my drink is now on my sweatshirt.

  1. YES! My shout out has come! haha but I can totally picture you riding/spilling allllll the way home from Starbucks. Hilarious. I'm currently addicted to Peppermint Mochas which is bad for both my wallet and my waistline. Unfortunately there's a Starbucks on the bottom floor of my building so I have to try to resist temptation every time and come and go. :(
